Xiaomi expands HyperOS 4 Beta testing with second batch recruitment

Xiaomi has announced new recruitment phases for the HyperOS 4 Beta testing program. Starting August 26 at 11:00, users can register for the devices scheduled to receive updates from August 27 onward. Another recruitment phase opens on September 16 at 11:00 for devices receiving updates beginning September 17.
Second Batch Recruitment Underway for Early Beta Devices
Some models from the initial rollout have already begun second batch sign-ups to expand tester numbers. These include the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro (first batch closed), Xiaomi 17 Ultra, Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, and REDMI K90 Pro Max, all entering their second recruitment wave.
Upcoming Beta Rollout Schedule
The update rollout starting August 27 covers a broad range of Xiaomi and REDMI phones:
- Xiaomi 17 Max
- Xiaomi 17T Pro
- Xiaomi 17T
- Xiaomi 15 Ultra and 15 Ultra Dual Satellite Versions
- Xiaomi 15S Pro
- Xiaomi 15 Pro
- Xiaomi 15
- REDMI K90 Max
- REDMI K90 Ultra
Devices slated for the next rollout phase begin receiving updates from September 17, including:
- REDMI K100 Pro Max
- REDMI K100 Pro
- REDMI K80 Pro
- REDMI K80 Ultra
- REDMI K80
- Xiaomi MIX Flip 2
On the tablet side, Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra and Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro 12.5 are included in this phase.
Beta Program Details and Delivery Process
The HyperOS 4 Beta is a testing release meant for selected users. It introduces features not yet in the stable public version, allowing Xiaomi to gather feedback and improve quality. Recruitment for each device model is split into two batches. After the first batch fills, the second batch opens. The second batch users typically receive the update within 10 days after the first batch is delivered.
This staged approach aims to improve update stability and user experience before wider deployment.
