Xiaomi has opened preorders for the Mijia Water Purifier 3 1200G, priced initially at ¥1499 (about $210) in China. The official sale starts on October 30 at 8:00 PM local time.
Physical Filtration and Self-Cleaning Features
The purifier uses a purely physical filtration method without adding scale inhibitors. It includes a filter self-cleaning technology that actively flushes residual water from pipelines. This ensures each glass of water stays fresh and pure. The device has passed maternal and infant-grade water purification certification and guarantees BPA-free water output. It supports up to 50 tons of total purified water volume.
Advanced 13-Stage Filtration System
Equipped with a 13-stage fresh water filtration system, the purifier filters particles as small as 0.0001 microns. It effectively removes 145 types of contaminants including impurities, chlorine, heavy metals, bacteria, and viruses from tap water. To address bacterial growth from infrequent use, the purifier uses a rear antibacterial filter cartridge and built-in long-lasting antibacterial materials in the water outlet, achieving over 99% antibacterial rate against E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus.
High Flow Rate for Efficient Water Supply
The new model supports a 1400G high flow rate for direct drinking water. Its initial flow speed reaches 3.74 liters per minute, allowing a 150ml cup to fill in just 2.4 seconds. This fast water supply suits large households or high daily water demand.
Display, Waterproofing, and Smart Features
A high-definition large display shows water modes, volume settings, and TDS values. With an IPX8 waterproof rating, the device resists moisture and splashes typical of kitchen environments. Connecting through the Mi Home app allows real-time monitoring of water quality and usage, filter cartridge status, and customized water volume adjustment. Users can also order replacement filters directly from the app.
